Richard began diving as a school boy in 2002 learning with Flippas-n-Fins and quickly became hooked on the activity.

He remained with the club through out his diving career and continues to dive and work with them during the summer period when he is back from Plymouth.

His experiences with Flippas-n-Fins have encouraged him to study Marine Biology and he has subsequently become qualified as a commercial diver.
